Podsquad (Pty) Ltd was established in 2019, primarily as a consulting company to leverage expertise gained from a career spanning 33 years in plant breeding. Initially, the business model was to offer exclusive consulting services in plant breeding related fields. As the business has evolved, two divisions of the company have developed. The Plant Protection Hub is the laboratory division, and the Plant Improvement Collective is the field division. We have been fortunate enough to secure a lease of the legendary Hildesheim Research Farm, adjoining the laboratory and greenhouse complex, which allows our business to take the next step in growth.  As with any business, dedicated and skilled staff are what drives success. We are a small family business, absolutely passionate about what we do, and we now have the facilities to do it!
